Always be Authentic & True to Yourself. Who are you? Not sure? It’s time to figure it out!

Who do you personally choose to be? Go within. Figure this out. Be true to yourself. Because when we reach to be who the other might want us to be we can lose ourselves.

Embrace who you are at your very core. This is self-love. We can live in the shadows of another. This is a choice. So is stepping out into the light and choosing to become that person you were always destined to be.

We all select a path each and every day.

I used to carry with me anxiety and depression, but I have consciously chosen a new path. IT IS possible… BUT you first need to choose it.

I look back now, and I can see that this pain is perhaps something that my soul chose. Something I had to go through so that I could at some point choose me and step into my power. So I could become a guiding light for others as I show them it can be done. You too can shine bright. OR you can dim yourself. But what for? To keep another comfortable?

If so, then consider this…

Can you support others the best you can if you dim your own light and keep them comfortable? Or are you perhaps enabling the behaviour – and removing their need to look at their own stuff?

To heal, we need to look at our stuff. I agree, it can be painful, but to choose not to look at our stuff is to choose to carry the pain.

Think about it… would you physically choose to continue to pick up items and not put anything down? Could it be that this is what we are doing emotionally when we choose not to forgive and not to release the pain of the past?

We pick up emotional baggage as we go through life and if we choose not to put any of it down, then it is without doubt that we become overburdened. A choice that we make… although perhaps it might not seem like it at the time.

Choose to break free from those burdens. Break free from enmeshment. Be authentic and true to yourself. Create healthy boundaries. And choose to put down those metaphorical swords.

As you heal, you will start to see that you need them less and less. I would encourage you to practise mindfulness, so you can observe how you currently use these swords. As we do we start to notice, that what we put out there is reflected back to us. We also notice that any triggers shine a light on what we still need to look at. As you choose to put down those burdens and instead CHOOSE to go with the flow, you will start to feel happy, whole and at peace.

I would encourage you to heal. The cause and effect of this is that you will shine brighter.
