Choosing Happiness in the Present Moment

Why do we wait for our happiness? Isn't the present moment the best moment to find and embrace happiness?

We choose what we give energy to. And our thoughts manifest into reality.

If we choose to give energy to fear, guilt, shame, and those kinds of low vibrational energies; then guess what we will get back?

Likewise, if we choose to give energy to love, peace, freedom, harmony, and other high vibrational energies, then these are the energies that we will start to see manifesting into our lives.

I have pulled back from certain media, as it was affecting my stability within self. Most of us can choose what we read and watch. I barely watch our leaders and Mainstream Media anymore - how they speak affects my inner-stability. As they say, “It’s good to be informed,” but why not find a work around?

I kind of go looking for the key information so that I know what is happening in the world; and I specifically read or watch what I feel intuitively drawn to.

If something is causing you inner chaos, then perhaps adjust until you have found something that works for you. Your stability and happiness are way too important.

It also helped when I learned that what is right and good is mutable. If I look outside of myself for what is right and good, then I am creating what is right and good from a perspective outside of myself – and potentially abandon myself in the process. On the other hand, if I go within and figure out what is right for me, I don’t abandon myself; instead, I empower myself.

Remember that tomorrow is not promised, so it’s good to let go of this need to control everything and always do what is right and good in the eyes of others.

It’s not selfish to fill your cup first. In doing so, you are providing yourself the fuel that you need to expand out way further than you ever have before. Don’t wait for you happiness, grab it with both hands. Make it your mission to enjoy the many moments each and every day.
