What's with ego-based Envy, Jealousy and Competition? Why is it even a thing?

Rachel discusses how ego-based envy, jealousy and competition can eat away at our life if we let it; and affect our relationships. It's time to respect ourselves and others ENOUGH that we start to shed any layers of envy, jealousy and competition that are interwoven through our interactions with those around us.

I would agree that a little healthy competition might perhaps help catapult us forwards on our path, but how is spending our entire life competing with others helpful? How is envy and jealousy helpful? In my eyes, they are simply distractions.

We truly bless those around us when we consciously choose to support them in whatever their journey entails; when we encourage them and allow them to show up in a true and authentic way. On the other hand, if we choose to put ourselves in competition with the other, we create this icky-ness that we will have trouble resolving until such time as we are willing to observe that it is a happening within our life.

This content is created by Rachel Reeves, who has always been a deep thinker. She previously played the supporting role in the lives of those around her, and very much held back on sharing this gift fully with other's. This is Rachel stepping very much out of her comfort zone, into what she now knows to be her inner calling, and sharing her thoughts with the world.
