Lions Gate Portal – Manifesting Abundance and “Embracing Our Inner Unicorn”
Updated: Aug 17, 2022
The Lions Gate Portal on the 8 August is always quite a powerful time for me. Although we can focus on a conscious manifestation, what I am realising more and more is that it is important that our subconscious is aligned with whatever we want to attract. For our dreams and manifestations to come true we must be prepared to act. We must also be ready to receive.
Have you noticed that many of the teachings relating to manifesting our hearts desires relate to altering the patterning within our subconscious mind? Things like shifting our mindset, living more consciously, and accepting the beauty within – “embracing our inner unicorn” so to speak. Things like envisioning something that our heart desires to be true, or speaking affirmations such as:
I am grateful now that I have… [insert what your heart most desires]
Last year, on the 8/8 starting at 8pm, I wrote 3 lists:
8 things I wanted to release.
8 things I was already grateful for.
8 things that I wanted to manifest, using a similar phrase to the above.
Afterwards I read out the list of those 8 things I wanted to release; expressing that I release them – I then burned it. I read out the other two lists and placed them under energy of the Moon. I placed some crystals that I was particularly drawn to on top of these two lists. You are most welcome to use this same ritual if you like. There are many rituals you can perform, so go searching for the one that most resonates with you – or get creative and make your own.
What I have learned is that once I focus on manifesting something, I need to then be patient and allow the universe to make shifts and changes so that I can receive that manifestation. For some it comes instantly… for me, it really depends on what it is. If I told you some of my goals, you might just think I’m aiming too high… you might perhaps call me crazy or think that I’m living in my own little world. I am learning to maintain patience and laser sharp focus. I’m learning to continually see things for what they are; and adjust how I move – until such time as the manifestation comes in – but I always hold onto this inner-knowing that it will come. While I wait… I keep doing.
It's important to understand that if we do some sort of ritual to manifest, but then sit back and do nothing… we are not adequately invested. We have a tendency to attract into our lives whatever we are putting out there, if that makes sense.
Many people try to manifest what their heart most desires, but they’re not willing to put in the work… and make adjustments until such time as things realign in their favour. Many give up because in their mind, it’s taking far too long, or they’re not seeing the growth that they were hoping for.
Others manifest what they think their heart most desires, not realising there is something better. But to take some sort of action is usually better than taking no action at all… as we can make the suitable adjustments later. Obviously in some situations, the opposite will be true. If we allow certain things into our energy space, such as toxic immovable relationships, then we need to understand that we are potentially sacrificing our manifestation.
Consider this thought that many people have likely given up on their dreams right before they were about to come to fruition. It’s important to understand that the universe may need to realign things first; and sometimes (not always) this takes time. Sometimes we need to remove certain blocks and push through limiting beliefs, but first we must be willing to see them for what they are.
We are all different in how we approach things. I personally had to push through many blocks to be able to share with the world in the first place. At some point I started to believe that what I had to say was not important.
IT IS important. I have realised that what I have to say can actually help people. BUT only certain people will be ready to hear those words that I write and/or speak... those are the people it will help. What YOU have to say IS important also. Don't allow yourself or anybody else to gaslight you into this thought that your words do not matter.
We can allow our fears and worries to burden us… to define us… to hold us back. I find power in realising that my “becoming” IS within my power – my shifting beyond any blocks or limiting beliefs that I might hold IS within my power.
Fear that I allow within my energy space has this sneaky way of shifting into my subconscious mind… and so I have been observing fear. I have also been observing my subconscious need to control.
If I see fear; and it scares me – and I choose to turn back… I choose to return to where it’s safe and comfortable, then what I am doing is accepting these blocks and limiting beliefs as my truth.
If I see fear; and I do it anyway, then I push beyond those blocks and limiting beliefs. It might take time to push beyond my own bs. There’s no doubt I'll sometimes fail – BUT I know that it will be worth it either way. We all fail here and there. The question becomes how do we respond to this failure? We learn and grow through our failures, but it's important that we are willing to release the thought that our failure makes us a failure. If we don't, our failures can potentially hold us back.
I can see the disempowerment that I embody when I stay where it is safe and comfortable. This being the case, people who tell me to stay where it’s safe and comfortable have the potential to disempower me – but only if I allow what they say to make its way into my subconscious mind.
I also very clearly see the empowerment that I embody as I seek to continually push beyond that fear. Every time I push beyond some sort of block or limiting belief, it boosts my confidence.
Is it good or bad for us to boost our confidence? Many of us have internalised this thought that it is bad to be confident within ourselves. The world has interestingly reflected back to some of us that ego is inherently bad. But if we look outside of ourselves, we tend to gravitate towards those who have a healthy ego, are confident within themselves and have chosen to Embrace their Inner Unicorn.
Confidence is good. Empowerment is good. A healthy ego is good. Balancing out our masculine and our feminine energies is good. I encourage you today to become your essence. Be authentic and true to yourself; and Embrace your Inner Unicorn!
What we manifest becomes so much more amazing, when we shift our focus to who we are; and what we personally desire out of life. As we make this shift we start to see fear and control in a very different way. I now see fear as just an illusion... one that shifts us to a space of lack. Our aim is to shift towards happiness, gratitude, and abundance. Would you agree that if we focus on fear it takes our focus away from what we truly want?
