Not Better Than You

Truth is, I’m neither more nor less important than you, my friend.

Truth is, I’m neither less nor more right than you, my friend.

Truth is, I’m neither more nor less beautiful than you, my friend.

Truth is, I’m neither less nor more worthy than you, my friend.

Truth is, I am not you and you are not I.

Firm in my independence in this world that pushes an ideology of no separation.

Yet it is also true we seem to exist as one consciousness.

Some might suggest I am a divine being. If this is true, then you are too -
