The Gift of Connection

Some have figured out the self-love thing, but still feel a disconnect with the world. How they portray themselves in their outer world suggests, “I am OK.” Even though they constantly nurture their inner world, they go through moments of screaming silent profanities to the world.

We seem to live in a world where it is encouraged to wear a mask of fakeness that says, “Everything is OK,” even when it’s not. To me, the true beauty is when we openly offer a hand to each other.

WHAT IF we were to create a safe and non-judgemental space for each other to express those deep most inner thoughts and emotions?

WHAT IF we very consciously chose to set aside that mask of fakeness that suggests that everything is OK?

When you come across a person who holds space for you to express your deep most inner thoughts and emotions without judgement, remember to thank them. They have offered you one of the most amazing gifts in the world in that moment – the gift of connection.

Even through this post, we share the gift of connection. I thank you for reading and for walking alongside me on this part of my journey.

This is Rachel stepping very much out of her comfort zone, into what she now knows to be her inner calling, and sharing her thoughts with the world.
